Ayana Bailey

Ayana Bailey is a co-author of the number 1 bestselling book, The Popcorn House - Teamwork Makes The Dream Work and she plays the voice of the fairy, Ladybug. She is an actress and has played lead roles in school productions including 'Annie' (as Annie), Charlotte Church in ‘We will Rock You’, and Edna Tracey’s mum in ‘Hairspray’. Ayana has performed on the West End as part of her performing arts school production.

 

Ayana is the CEO of her own business, Yani Creations and is passionate about inspiring young people to build their confidence, through positive quotes and affirmations. She is part of Young People’s National Theatre technician alumni and enjoys creative arts, including film-making and editing, performing arts and photography. Ayana has great leadership qualities and will continue working behind the camera or on set as an actor.

Ayana is on various young people's boards, she is a Young Ambassador for the Look Like Me Book project and Committee Newham Youth Health champion, Legacy Youth Voice and East London Summer School. She has attended Girl Guides since the age of 10 years, which has developed a sense of community and friendship and has attended Theatre Royal Stratford East, Junior Youth Theatre for a few years, to develop her creative craft and learning various acting techniques.
