Imayah Dayes

Hello, my name is Imayah, I am 7 years old and describe myself as a creative and powerful black girl.  I was part of the first Look Like Me Challenge and co-authored the Popcorn House.  I also am the voice of ‘Neveah’ for the animation.  I am home educated and enjoy singing, ballet, street dance, gymnastics, swimming, drama and horse riding. I am learning Spanish and Japanese and also attend African Art and History.  When I was six, I designed and printed my own affirmation cards, ‘I’m glad I AM black ‘ and am currently writing my own children’s book.
